Home Depot House, 2013

mixed media sculpture

10 x 8.5 x 12.5 feet

A collaboratively designed and constructed one-room art studio made with fellow Home Depot employees using available materials sold within the retail store. Along with the artist, retail workers and management collectively made decisions for the allocation of materials, construction, and exhibition of the cabin within the store. The studio was then transported and reinstalled at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum where it functioned as workspace during the 2013 deCordova Biennial.
